1.
Support Adoption and Foster Care Services in your
town and community.
2.
Help children of all ages and special needs belong
to a loving, permanent family.
3.
Educate and support individuals and families on
becoming adoptive parents.
4.
Serve as an advocate for children living in foster
care and awaiting adoption.
5.
Reach out to business communities and neighborhoods
to raise awareness about children issues.
6.
Help to increase the number of adoptions of children
waiting in
2.
Support your local adoption agency with donations of
all kinds, including monetary, or hold a fundraiser to benefit all facets of
the agency.
3.
Participate in the Angel Tree Program by
taking a name(s) from the holiday Christmas tree to purchase and donate a gift
for a child living in foster care.
4.
Volunteer your time and talents to serve on your
local adoption services board.
5.
Make a donation to The Dave Thomas Foundation for
Adoption whose mission is “Finding Forever Families for Children in Foster
Care.”
6.
Support Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, by purchasing a
coupon book for the Wendy’s Valentine Fun Pack Fundraiser during the month of
February at any Wendy’s Restaurant where available. You can also make a
donation in the counter canisters throughout the year.
7.
Suitcases for Kids – collect and deliver new or
slightly used suitcases to children transitioning or living in foster care.

Please report annually. Reporting period is January
1st – December 31st.
2.
Report on the OFWC Junior Scorecard Page (Pink
Pages) and on the Division/Department
Report Pages (White Pages).
3.
Only OFWC Junior Special Project, Adoption and
Foster Care reports, should be mailed to Chairman Peggy Boyd.
Awards
1.
Points are awarded on the Junior Scorecard annually
for participation.
2.
OFWC Participation Certificates will be awarded in
the District and State to Junior, General, and Juniorette
clubs participating.
3.
Award Certificates for Outstanding Achievement in
each category will be presented at the Annual Convention.
4.
New OFWC Administration Award, The
“Jukebox Hero” Award, will be awarded each year at the Annual Convention to
the Junior or General Club doing the most overall for Adoption and Foster Care
in their Community.
5.
The “Winged Lady” Trophy will be awarded the second
year of the Administration at the Annual Convention to the Junior
club doing the most overall for Adoption and Foster Care.
